Drie jaar lang onderzocht Natural Contract Lab (NCL) het ecosysteem van de Zenne-rivier. Het collectief organiseerde walking-withs* aan de rivier en haar verwante gemeenschappen, van de bron van de Zenne in Soignies tot de splitsing in het Zennegat in Mechelen. Van mensen tot planten, van brandnetels tot Japanse duizendknoop, en alle onderwaterleven: welke rechten hebben de  rivieren en haar bondgenoten? Kunnen we die wettelijk verankeren in een Living Bill*, als een legitiem gebaar van zorg?

Tijdens ‘STILL HERE’ deelt NCL hun aanpak. Je ontdekt hoe ze de rechten van de natuur, herstelrecht, ecologische rouw, zintuiglijke scenografieën en participatieve rituelen met elkaar verweven. En ze nemen je mee op sleeptouw! Tijdens een walking-with* overdag ontdek je het landschap langs de Gentse waterlopen. Daarna is er bij VIERNULVIER een gesprek met gasten, gevolgd door de presentatie van de Living Bill voor de rechten van de Zenne door de alliantie van zorg voor de rivier.
